Coming to design the devices you a solid metal construction with finger print sensor in the back. It feels nice and robust in hands. As the bezels are too small the device doesn’t feels too big. In fact, it feels better the devices with 5.5 inch display (Redmi Note 3). One hand operation won’t be a big issue if you got big hands. Furthermore, it is a very slim device which means you need to add an additional cover to make it fit in your palm. The thing which we didn’t like is the protruding camera bump in the back which could get damaged easily if you don’t use a cover in your phone.

The screen is a 5.8 inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is quite decent for a panel with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen is quite bright and displays all the colors properly. Unlike AMOLED panels colors are more accurate. However, AMOLED looks more soothing to the eye.
